Curlssential came to be when two curly girl Filipinas, Zahraa and Zainab, struggled to find hair products and accessories to care for their natural curls. 👩🏻‍🦱👩🏻‍🦱

Simultaneously, local beauty standards considered straight hair as the ideal hair type, talk about discouraging right? 🤔

It seemed like concealing their curls by tying their hair up or keeping them in braids was the only option.

Educating curlies on caring for their natural hair and providing curly hair essentials to the Filipino market was what Z and Zai envisioned for all the curlies out there. Through Curlssential, they are doing just that! 😍
